Research and innovation at the service of society is one of the major pillars of the University. The vast majority of UEMF professors are professors-researchers and their career development is largely based on their scientific output.
UEMF has a very high level research infrastructure and certain facilities are unique in Morocco such as the additive manufacturing platform (3D printing), the digital platform, etc.
The UEMF is currently the Moroccan University which has the most important research contracts with the socio-economic world including the sectors of aeronautics, automobile, renewable energies, agro-industry, digital, biomedical, spatial planning, cultural heritage and the challenges of the Euro-Mediterranean-Africa area. Research at UEMF is carried out by highly qualified professor-researchers recognized by their scientific production, and by doctoral students and post-doctoral fellows of different nationalities.
