With the digital transformation of the company, the progress of artificial intelligence, the rise of robots and issues related to the control and protection of personal data, the field of Digital and Artificial Intelligence is at the heart of a major technological revolution of our societies. All sectors of the economy and society are concerned: health, transport, energy, education, management, industry and agriculture.

The theses proposed by the Centre for Doctoral Studies of the UEMF and conducted in the research laboratories of the EIDIA (School of Engineers in Digital and Artificial Intelligence) aim to advance the state of the art throughout the field, both on the most fundamental aspects of computing, related to the storage and processing of large data masses (Big data) up to complex systems, able to understand their environment, interact with humans, make decisions independently and explain them.
