Visit of two Riads made available to UEMF by a delegation accompanied by Pr. Iman Benkirane

A delegation composed of Ms. Nadia Fettah Alaoui, Minister of Tourism, Crafts, Air Transport and the Social Economy, Mr. Said Zniber, Wali of the Fès-Meknès Region as well as Mr. Mohand Laenser, President of the Fez-Meknes Region, went to the two Riads made available to the Euromed University of Fez, located at Lalla Yeddouna.
Pr. Iman Benkirane, Director of the Euromed School of Architecture, Design and Town Planning (EMADU), presented to the delegation the program that these buildings will host according to the "Open air school" approach; program which will start in January 2020, bringing together ancestral skills from the academic and research world. These two Riads are now intended to be a platform for training, exchange, experimentation and emulation in favor of EMADU students as well as craftsmen and apprentice craftsmen; and this, through seminars, workshops, workshops, etc.
The objective is to allow students and apprentices as well as craftsmen and academics to combine knowledge and know-how. In addition to the above activities, these residences will also be spaces for popularizing knowledge through the organization of conferences, exhibitions, screenings, etc., thus materializing one of the reasons for being of UEMF and which is that of being a platform for exchange, dialogue and openness.
